Having been based in Stanford-Le-Hope for over 20 years, SGC is one of the longest-running tabletop gaming clubs in Essex. The club predominantly caters to wargamers; however, it also runs regular D&D campaigns and TCG games, with Magic: The Gathering being a popular choice among members.
So if you are looking for a location to play some 40k, AOS, or even Old World on a Sunday evening, pop on down, introduce yourself, and get involved.

The gaming club is open every Sunday night (with the odd exception around Christmas) between 6-10pm.

What are the popular Tabletop Games Played?
By far the most popular tabletop games are wargames from Games Workshop, with Warhammer 40,000 being the most popular. You will also find people playing Age of Sigmar and Warhammer: The Old World. Dungeons & Dragons is also played on a regular basis, if you are looking to play D&D, it’s best to contact the club in advance, in order to get in at the beginning of a campaign.
