Grand Alliance Chaos brings together Age of Sigmar armies shaped by dark gods, mutation, ambition and destructive power. The factions vary greatly in appearance and battlefield style, from heavily armoured warriors and swarming hordes to daemons, monsters and magic-led forces. New players should choose the faction they most enjoy visually, then check its current battletome and unit rules before planning a complete army and painting project.

Use products such as Battletome: Blades of Khorne, Battletome: Disciples of Tzeentch and Chaos Battletome: Skaven to understand a faction’s units and play style. Always confirm that a book matches the current edition. When starting an army, a focused boxed set can be easier to build and paint than purchasing several unrelated units.
