Warhammer Tone Pro
Warhammer Tone Pro paints organise your miniature-painting palette into 30 colour families, each with five numbered tones. Whether you’re choosing colours for an army or picking out the finishing touches on a character, the system makes it easier to plan darker shadows and lighter highlights. Browse the colour families above, then select the tone you need on the product page. Each paint selection is one individual 12ml pot.
The numbering runs from tone 1, the darkest, to tone 5, the lightest. Choose the steps that suit your painting style: a darker colour for shaded areas, a main colour for larger surfaces and a lighter tone for raised details. You don’t need every tone to build a scheme. Families such as Ultramar Blue, Bloodtoof Red, Lustria Green and Necrolith Bone give you starting points for armour, cloth, creature details and scenic elements. Tone Pro paints support basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing and drybrushing, with a self-levelling formulation designed to produce a smooth finish.
Warhammer Tech Pro mediums let you adjust how the paints behave for particular techniques. Shading Medium reduces pigment density while preserving flow and finish, allowing Tone Pro colours to be used as shades or glazes. Blending Medium extends drying time, giving you longer to work colours together. Both are supplied separately in 18ml bottles, so choose according to the technique you want to explore.
Pair your colours with suitable Warhammer paint brushes, including the Tone Dry range for drybrushing.
