Description
Warhammer Tone Pro Carthalos Skin comes as one 12ml pot in your chosen tone from 1–5. The family explores deep brown through warm reddish-brown, offering a starting point for skin on heroes, troops and fantasy creatures. Think about where the light falls before choosing your main tone: a brow, cheekbone or raised knuckle might need a different emphasis from the underside of an arm. The family could also be useful for warm leather straps and pouches, especially when you want those smaller details to connect with the rest of a character’s palette.
Across the family, Tone 1 is the darkest and Tone 5 is the lightest. You can use the numbered order to map out shadows, the main skin colour and selective highlights, choosing how much contrast suits the miniature. For a face, try concentrating the lighter accents on a few features rather than covering every raised detail equally. Tone Pro is intended for basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing and drybrushing, with the technique chosen to suit your model.
Compare Celestine Skin or explore Gnarlwood for a less reddish brown direction.
