Description

Warhammer Colour Warplock Bronze Base Paint provides a dark metallic bronze for establishing rich, weathered metal across painted miniatures. It is a useful foundation for armour, weapons, machinery, decorative trim and mechanical details that need a darker metallic starting point.

The Base formula helps establish an even layer of colour before you add shades and highlights. For example, Warplock Bronze can cover larger metal panels or carefully selected details while leaving room to build contrast with brighter bronze, brass or copper colours. Its deep metallic finish also suits aged machinery and worn equipment.

The 12ml pot features the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.

Using Warplock Bronze Base Paint

First, shake the pot thoroughly before use to mix the metallic pigment evenly. Next, apply Warplock Bronze in thin, controlled coats over a suitable undercoat. Then, allow each coat to dry before adding another. Building the colour gradually helps create a smoother and more consistent metallic foundation.

Once the base coat is dry, apply a suitable Shade paint to deepen recesses and separate details. You can then use a brighter metallic Layer paint along raised surfaces and edges, creating definition while keeping Warplock Bronze visible in the darker areas.

Each pot contains 12ml of water-based paint. Finally, clean brushes with water after use.

For hobby use only. Not suitable for children under 12.
