Description
Warhammer Tone Pro Hawkshroud Yellow offers a warm yellow palette, progressing from orange-yellow into warm and pale yellows. Choose one 12ml pot in your preferred Tone 1–5. Try it for golden-looking cloth, bold armour panels or shield designs that need a sunny focal point. The orange influence in the darker colours gives you a way to explore warm shadows while keeping yellow at the heart of the scheme.
Within each Tone Pro family, Tone 1 is darkest and Tone 5 is lightest. On a curved armour plate, you could build from a darker lower edge through the middle yellows, then reserve a pale highlight for the area catching the light. On robes, follow the sculpted folds to decide where those changes belong.
The range supports basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing and drybrushing. Hawkshroud Yellow is a good palette to consider for larger yellow features as well as small markings: vary how much of the lighter tones you use to control which parts of the miniature draw the eye first.
