Description
Warhammer Tone Pro Ultramar Blue is the family used in Warhammer’s own Ultramarines power-armour example. Choose one 12ml pot in Tone 1–5, with Tone 1 the darkest and Tone 5 the lightest. The family runs from navy through strong blue to lighter cool blue, with possibilities across infantry, characters and vehicles.
Try a middle tone as the main armour colour, darker blues around recesses and panel joins, and lighter tones on selected edges and upper surfaces. Choose the individual tone that fits the next step of your recipe. Highlight placement lets you decide how dramatic the finished scheme feels.
Tone Pro supports basecoating, layering and highlighting, and the paint can be used straight from the pot. For a force painted over several sessions, keep a note of your chosen tones and highlight placement so the next squad follows the same scheme.
