Warhammer Colour Ulthuan Grey Layer Paint offers a cool, very pale grey with a subtle blue tone. Use it to build crisp highlights and smooth colour transitions across painted miniatures. For example, it works especially well over grey, blue and off-white base colours, adding definition to armour, cloth, stone and raised details.
The Layer formula supports smooth, controlled applications over established base colours. Apply Ulthuan Grey gradually across larger pale areas or use it precisely along edges and prominent features. As a result, this creates a clean, cool highlight while preserving the shading beneath.
The 12ml pot features the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.
Using Ulthuan Grey Layer Paint
First, shake the pot thoroughly before use. Next, apply Ulthuan Grey in thin, controlled coats over a suitable base colour. Then, allow each coat to dry before adding the next. Building the paint gradually helps maintain the underlying shading and produces a smoother finish.
For sharper definition, use a fine brush along armour edges, folds of fabric and other raised details. You can also layer Ulthuan Grey beneath a brighter white to create a crisp final highlight.
Each pot contains 12ml of water-based paint. Finally, clean brushes with water after use.
