Description
Warhammer Colour Talassar Blue Contrast Paint provides a vivid blue colour while helping to create shading and definition across detailed miniature surfaces. Applied over a suitable light undercoat, the Contrast formula settles more strongly into recesses while leaving raised areas brighter.
Talassar Blue is particularly useful for blue armour, cloth, scales, energy effects and other details where you want strong colour with visible depth. For example, it can bring out panel lines, folds and textured surfaces in one controlled application, giving you a useful foundation for optional highlights and finishing details.
The 18ml pot features the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.
Using Talassar Blue Contrast Paint
First, shake the pot thoroughly before use. Next, apply Talassar Blue over a smooth, light-coloured undercoat with a suitable brush. Guide the paint evenly across the surface and allow it to settle naturally into the recesses.
Work methodically and maintain a wet edge where possible. Avoid repeatedly brushing over areas that have started to dry, as this can disturb the finish. Then, allow the paint to dry fully before adding further layers, highlights or surrounding colours.
Talassar Blue can be used as the main colour on textured areas or as a starting point for a more detailed blue colour scheme. Once dry, lighter blue Layer paints can add sharper highlights to raised edges and prominent features.
Each pot contains 18ml of water-based paint. Finally, clean brushes with water after use.
For hobby use only. Not suitable for children under 12.
