The colour separation is sharp straight out of the box, and the transformation gimmick into the Core Splendor system is surprisingly well executed for a 1/144 scale.
What is the RG Grade?
Real Grade (RG) kits are designed to bring Master Grade-level detail and engineering into a compact 1/144 scale. You get advanced articulation, layered armour construction and a semi-prebuilt inner frame that makes the build feel far more intricate than a standard High Grade. It’s a great middle ground if you want detail without committing to a full MG build.
Why You’ll Like It
The standout here is the transformation system – the Force Impulse splits into its Core Splendor components and it’s done in a way that actually feels solid rather than gimmicky. The articulation is excellent too, so you can really push dynamic poses, especially with that iconic beam rifle and shield combo. It’s one of those RG kits that feels rewarding both during the build and once it’s on display.
