The Pro Arte Series 430 Prolon Flat Shader Size 1/8 is a compact synthetic brush for controlled painting in smaller areas. Its narrow flat edge is useful for layering, block highlights, sharp transitions and working along armour panels, weapon casings and other defined shapes.
Compared with the broader 3/16 and 1/4 flat shaders, the 1/8 size trades coverage for extra control. It is a useful specialist option when a round brush does not give you the straight edge or contact area the technique requires.
