Ogor Mawtribes: Cleavers

Cleavers are fanatical Mawseekers who have devoted themselves entirely to the Gulping God. These hulking zealots scour the battlefield for rare and suitably mystical ingredients, with the flesh of wizards, priests and shamans considered an especially prized delicacy.

Armed with enormous blades and decorated with the grisly trophies of their endless pilgrimage, Cleavers bring a particularly macabre character to an Ogor Mawtribes collection. Their imposing size, ritual markings and collection of ill-fated ingredients make them a distinctive unit for Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

Product Features

This multipart plastic kit builds three Cleavers for an Ogor Mawtribes army. The kit includes cosmetic options for personalising your Cleavers, allowing you to add variety to the unit and create a suitably characterful band of devotees.

Alternatively, the same kit can be assembled as three Gutseers. These unsettling cultists use droning chants and gruesome acts of divination to disrupt enemy spellcasters while acting as conduits for the gut magic wielded by friendly Butchers.

Assembly and Painting

Ogor Mawtribes: Cleavers are supplied unpainted and require assembly. Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended.

The miniatures offer plenty of entertaining painting opportunities, from weathered blades and battered equipment to ritual markings, grisly trophies and the various ingredients gathered during their travels. Their exposed skin also provides a broad canvas for developing the distinctive appearance of your chosen mawtribe.

Battlefield Role

Cleavers are aggressive Ogor Mawtribes infantry with a particular appetite for magically attuned flesh. Their Arcane Appetite is stirred whenever a friendly or enemy Wizard or Priest is nearby, driving the unit into an even more destructive combat frenzy.

As Mawseekers, they fit naturally alongside other followers of the Gulping God and provide a thematic melee unit for armies containing Butchers, priests or other mystically inclined warriors. Choosing the alternative Gutseer build changes the unit’s purpose, supporting Ogor Mawtribes Wizards by allowing their magic to be channelled through the cult.

Whether assembled as frenzied Cleavers or unnerving Gutseers, this kit adds three imposing new miniatures to an Ogor Mawtribes collection, combining grisly character with a strong connection to the faction’s hunger-fuelled worship.
