You still get all those layered armour sections, the clean white and blue colour scheme, and that unmistakable presence – just with a bit more personality packed into a compact build.
What Grade is this? – MGSD (Master Grade Super Deformed)
MGSD is a relatively new line from Bandai, and it’s honestly one of the most interesting things they’ve done in years. You’re getting the stylised SD proportions, but with internal frame detail, colour separation, and articulation that feels much closer to a Master Grade kit. It’s a great middle ground – more advanced than SD, but not as time-intensive as a full MG build.
Why You’ll Like It
This is one of those kits that just feels satisfying from start to finish. The build has enough complexity to keep things interesting, especially with the internal frame and layered armour, but it never becomes overwhelming. The articulation is surprisingly strong for its size, so you can still pose Aerial in those dynamic, floating combat stances it’s known for. And visually, it really stands out on a shelf – compact, detailed, and instantly recognisable. If you like the design from Witch from Mercury or just want something a bit different from standard Gunpla grades, this one’s an easy recommendation.
