Description

Warhammer Colour Frostheart Contrast Paint provides a cool, icy blue colour while helping to create shading and definition across detailed miniature surfaces. Applied over a suitable light undercoat, the Contrast formula gathers more strongly in recesses while leaving raised areas brighter.

Frostheart is particularly useful for ice, spectral effects, magical energy, scales, cloth and armour that need a cold blue finish. It can bring out sculpted texture and recessed details in one controlled application, giving you a strong foundation for optional highlights and finishing effects.

The 18ml pot features the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.

Using Frostheart Contrast Paint

First, shake the pot thoroughly before use. Apply Frostheart over a smooth, light-coloured undercoat with a suitable brush. Guide the paint evenly across the surface and allow it to settle naturally into the recesses.

Work methodically and maintain a wet edge where possible. Avoid repeatedly brushing over areas that have started to dry, as this can disturb the finish. Allow the paint to dry fully before adding further layers, highlights or surrounding colours.

Frostheart can be used as the main colour on textured areas or as the starting point for an icy or spectral colour scheme. Once dry, lighter blue or pale neutral Layer paints can add sharper highlights to raised edges and prominent features.

Each pot contains 18ml of water-based paint. Clean brushes with water after use.

For hobby use only. Not suitable for children under 12.
