Warhammer Colour: Shade Druchii Violet 18ml

Description

Warhammer Colour Druchii Violet Shade Paint adds deep violet shading and definition to painted miniatures. Its flowing formula collects in recessed details, helping to emphasise folds, panel lines, texture and sculpted features while leaving the underlying colour visible.

Druchii Violet works particularly well over purple, blue and red areas, as well as skin, cloth, armour and organic details that benefit from a cool violet shadow. For example, it can deepen the folds of fabric, separate armour panels or bring out the texture across skin and creature surfaces.

The 18ml pot features the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.

Using Druchii Violet Shade Paint

First, shake the pot thoroughly before use. Next, apply Druchii Violet over a fully dry base colour with a suitable brush. Guide the paint towards recesses and shaded areas, keeping the coverage controlled across raised surfaces.

Check the model for any unwanted pooling before the paint begins to dry. If necessary, use a clean brush to remove excess Shade paint from flat areas. Then, allow the paint to dry fully before applying further layers or highlights.

Druchii Violet can be applied across an entire detailed area or placed more precisely into selected recesses. Once dry, reapply the original colour to raised surfaces or add a lighter Layer paint to restore highlights and strengthen the contrast.

Each pot contains 18ml of water-based paint. Finally, clean brushes with water after use.
