Warhammer Colour: Layer Dark Reaper 12ml

Description

Warhammer Colour Dark Reaper Layer Paint provides a dark blue-grey colour for building highlights and adding cool-toned definition to painted miniature details. Its Layer formulation is designed for controlled application over dry Base paints and darker colours.

Dark Reaper is particularly useful for highlighting black, dark blue and deep grey surfaces without creating an overly bright contrast. It works well on armour, weapons, cloth, machinery and other areas that need subtle blue-grey definition. The colour can also provide the first step in a sequence of progressively lighter highlights.

The 12ml pot features the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.

Using Dark Reaper Layer Paint

First, shake the pot thoroughly before use. Apply Dark Reaper with a suitable brush over a fully dry base colour. Use a controlled amount of paint and thin it as required to help maintain a smooth finish.

For general layering, apply the paint to raised and prominent areas while leaving the darker base colour visible in the recesses. For edge highlighting, use the side or point of a fine brush to draw a narrow line along the model’s raised edges.

Several thin coats will normally give a smoother and more controlled result than one heavy application. Allow each coat to dry before adding another layer or moving on to a lighter highlight colour.

Each pot contains 12ml of water-based paint. Clean brushes with water after use.
