Description
Warhammer Colour: Contrast Flesh Tearers Red 18ml
Flesh Tearers Red Contrast paint gives your miniatures a rich crimson finish with darker shading in the recesses. It is a great choice for red armour, flowing cloaks and textured details where you want the sculpt to stand out. This 18ml pot comes in the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.
If you enjoy painting dramatic reds, this colour has plenty of uses across your collection. Try it on the folds of a robe, the scales of a creature or the armour of your favourite warriors. The translucent colour lets a light undercoat show through on raised areas, while more paint settles into the deeper details. As a result, you can build colour and definition together without painting every shadow separately.
Using Flesh Tearers Red Contrast paint
Start with a smooth, light undercoat, then apply the paint evenly over a small area at a time. Guide it into the details with your brush and lift away any large pools before they dry. Textured surfaces such as cloth folds work particularly well. On broad, flat panels, take a little more care to keep the coverage even.
For a deeper red, let the first coat dry fully before adding another. You can also use Contrast Medium when you want a lighter tint or more subtle layers. Whether you are painting a whole unit or adding a few red accents, Flesh Tearers Red gives you room to experiment with the finish.
Supplied in an 18ml pot. This paint uses a water-based formula, so you can clean your brushes with water after use.
