Warhammer Colour Night Lords Blue is a deep navy-blue Base paint for establishing strong, dark colours on painted miniatures. Its rich tone works particularly well on armour, cloth, vehicles, heraldry and other areas that need a dark blue foundation.

Base paint provides strong coverage and creates a solid starting point for later stages of painting. Night Lords Blue helps establish the main colour quickly while preserving the model’s sculpted detail. You can then add shading, layers and highlights to build greater depth.

The 12ml pot features the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.

Using Night Lords Blue Base Paint

Apply Night Lords Blue in thin, even coats over a clean and fully dry undercoat. Add a second coat where necessary rather than applying one heavy layer. This approach produces a smoother finish and keeps fine details clear.

Once dry, Night Lords Blue provides a dark foundation for lighter blue layers and edge highlights. Focus those brighter colours on raised areas and prominent edges to strengthen the shape of armour panels, cloth folds and mechanical details.

You can also use Night Lords Blue selectively for deep shadows or contrasting dark blue details. Its subdued colour makes it useful across military, science-fiction and fantasy colour schemes.

Each pot contains 12ml of water-based paint. Clean brushes with water after use.
