Description
Warhammer Colour Carroburg Crimson Shade Paint adds rich crimson shading and definition to painted miniature surfaces. Its flowing consistency helps the paint settle naturally into recesses, strengthening shadows while allowing the underlying colour to remain visible on raised areas.
Carroburg Crimson works particularly well over red, pink and purple colours. It is useful for adding depth to cloth, armour, organic textures, skin details and other areas that need warm crimson shadows. You can also use it selectively around panel lines, folds and recessed details for more controlled shading.
The 18ml pot features the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.
Using Carroburg Crimson Shade Paint
First, shake the pot thoroughly before use. Apply Carroburg Crimson over a fully dry base colour with a suitable brush. Guide the paint towards the recesses and watch for unwanted pooling on broad, flat surfaces.
For an even finish, work methodically and avoid brushing over areas that have started to dry. Use a clean brush to remove excess paint where necessary, then allow the Shade paint to dry completely before applying highlights or surrounding colours.
Carroburg Crimson can be used across an entire textured area or applied carefully to individual recesses. Once dry, reapplying the original colour to raised areas can restore brightness while preserving the deeper crimson shading.
Each pot contains 18ml of water-based paint. Clean brushes with water after use.
