Tools

Good preparation makes miniatures easier to assemble and paint. This category brings together Citadel hobby tools for removing components from their frames, cleaning mould lines, preparing joints, drilling details, holding models and finishing textured bases.

Cutters help remove parts cleanly from a plastic frame, while a hobby knife, file or mouldline remover can tidy the remaining attachment points and raised mould lines. A Citadel Painting Handle gives you a steadier grip while painting and helps reduce the need to touch the miniature itself. For repairs and small gaps, Citadel Liquid Green Stuff can help create a cleaner surface before priming.

You will also find specialist items such as drills, texture spreaders, assembly stands and spray sticks. Which tools you need will depend on the models you are building, but cutters and a suitable cleaning tool are sensible starting points for most plastic kits.
