Warhammer Colour Technical Paints

Warhammer Colour Technical Paints bring together the specialist products that help turn a painted miniature into a finished scene. This category includes textured paints for creating bases, mediums for adjusting other paints, varnish-style finishes and effect colours for adding everything from cracked earth to blood, grime and unusual surfaces.

If you want to build a dusty battlefield or barren landscape, products such as Agrellan Earth can create texture and natural-looking cracks directly on the base. Ardcoat provides a glossy finish for lenses, screens, wet surfaces and polished details. You will also find useful mediums that give you more control over the consistency and finish of paints from the wider Warhammer Colour range.

These paints are ideal when you want to add character beyond the main base colours and highlights. They can help tie a model into its environment, create a particular atmosphere or draw attention to small details. Our beginner’s guide to miniature painting provides a helpful introduction to the wider painting process, while our Warhammer Colour rebrand guide explains the new presentation of the range.
