Description
Warhammer Tone Pro Plague Toad Venom moves from leaf green into lively lime and yellow-green. Choose one 12ml pot in your preferred Tone 1–5. It is a tempting palette for painted poison effects, strange fungal growths and the skin of creatures that really should be left alone. Try it for a small toxic-looking detail on a dark miniature, or build a whole monster’s colour scheme around those vivid greens.
Tone 1 is the darkest colour in each Tone Pro family, while Tone 5 is the lightest. To paint the impression of a glow around a sculpted bottle or magical detail, you could concentrate the lighter yellow-greens near the intended light source. Keep the surrounding greens deeper to make that contrast more pronounced.
The range is designed for basecoating, layering, highlighting, glazing and drybrushing. On a textured creature, try following the raised warts, scales or ridges with lighter tones, letting the darker areas separate the shapes and keep the sculpt readable.
To explore glazes with this family, consider Tech Pro Shading Medium.
