Description
Warhammer Colour Caliban Green Base Paint provides a deep, dark green for establishing rich colour across painted miniatures. It is a useful foundation for armour, uniforms, cloaks, scales, foliage and other details that need a strong green starting point.
The Base formula helps you establish an even layer of colour before adding shades and highlights. For example, Caliban Green can cover larger armour panels and fabric areas while leaving plenty of room to build depth with lighter green tones. Its dark colour also works well in recessed areas, helping later highlights appear clearer and more defined.
The 12ml pot features the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.
Using Caliban Green Base Paint
First, shake the pot thoroughly before use. Next, apply Caliban Green in thin, controlled coats over a suitable undercoat. Then, allow each coat to dry before adding another. Building the colour with two thin coats will usually produce a smoother and more consistent foundation than one heavy application.
Once the base coat is dry, add a suitable shade where deeper shadows are needed. You can then use lighter green Layer paints on raised surfaces and edges to create contrast while keeping Caliban Green visible in the darker areas.
Each pot contains 12ml of water-based paint. Finally, clean brushes with water after use.
