Chaos Warriors are not ordinary mortal soldiers. These servants of the Ruinous Powers have survived the brutal Path to Glory – exchanging the furs and leathers of their former lives for imposing suits of heavy Chaos armour. Marching south from the frozen wastes, they form the ironclad heart of a Warriors of Chaos army in The Old World.

This multipart plastic kit builds 16 new Chaos Warriors, each carrying a brutal hand weapon and a heavy shield. Their broad armour plates, horned helmets and ragged cloaks create the unmistakable silhouette of the Warriors of Chaos.

Product Features

The kit includes interchangeable heads, shields and weapons, allowing you to introduce plenty of variety throughout the regiment without losing its disciplined, intimidating appearance.

You can assemble the miniatures as one substantial unit of 16 Chaos Warriors or organise them into two smaller regiments. Components are included to create either one or two full command groups, giving you the flexibility to include Champions, standard bearers and musicians according to the size of your chosen units.

The Chaos Warriors have also been designed with wider army customisation in mind. Their helmeted heads, weapons, shields and shoulder pads are compatible with components from the new Chaos Knights kit, opening up further opportunities to personalise your force and create a cohesive marching host.

Assembly and Painting

These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted. Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended.

Chaos Warriors provide plenty of enjoyable painting opportunities, from weathered plate armour and heavy metal trim to fur cloaks, wooden shields and trophies gathered during their march south. Their large armour panels work equally well with clean, strongly defined colours or a darker, battle-worn finish, while the interchangeable components make it easy to give individual warriors their own character.

Battlefield Role

Chaos Warriors form a dependable core for Warriors of Chaos armies in Warhammer: The Old World. Protected by thick plate armour and large shields, they are designed to advance as a solid ranked formation, withstand the enemy’s assault and bring their brutal hand weapons to bear at close quarters.

They fit naturally alongside faster Chaos Knights, hard-hitting Champions and less heavily armoured Marauders. While mounted units range ahead and threaten the enemy’s flanks, the Chaos Warriors provide an imposing centre around which the rest of the army can operate.
