Description
Archaic Sepia Wash is a soft yellow-brown miniature wash from the Duncan Rhodes Painting Academy Two Thin Coats range. Its warm tint settles into recesses to define detail while giving the surface an aged, sun-warmed appearance.
Archaic Sepia miniature wash
Use Archaic Sepia over bone, parchment, pale cloth, warm skin tones and natural materials. It is also useful for ageing clean colours or adding gentle definition without the heavier effect of a dark brown wash.

Apply the wash with a brush and guide it towards recesses where more shading is required. Remove any unwanted pooling before it dries for a cleaner result.
