Description
Ogor Mawtribes: Okar’s Torrbad
Okar of the Fraya is a weathered frost-mystic who believes he hears the voice of his god in the cracking of the ice. Following its guidance across the frozen wilds, he leads the last loyal members of his Torrbad into battle as a mercenary Regiment of Renown.
Mounted upon two immense beasts of the frozen wastes, Okar’s Torrbad brings the strength and resilience of the Ogor Mawtribes to other Destruction armies. The combination of a Huskard on Stonehorn and Thundertusk Beastriders makes this an imposing pair of centrepiece miniatures, packed with rugged armour, furs, trophies and the untamed character of the Beastclaw ogors.
Product Features
This multipart plastic set builds Okar’s Torrbad – a Regiment of Renown for Warhammer Age of Sigmar. The regiment consists of a Huskard on Stonehorn and a unit of Thundertusk Beastriders, representing Okar and the loyal brothers Surgi and Halfur.
Both enormous mounts capture the harsh identity of the frozen wilderness. The Stonehorn is a hulking mass of muscle, horns and thick hide, while the Thundertusk brings its own distinctive silhouette and frost-bound character. Together, they create a striking group of mercenary ogor cavalry that will stand out in any Destruction collection.
Box Contents
This set contains:
- 1 Huskard on Stonehorn
- 1 Thundertusk Beastriders miniature
- 2 Citadel 120mm x 92mm Oval Bases
Together these miniatures form the Okar’s Torrbad Regiment of Renown.
Assembly and Painting
Okar’s Torrbad is supplied unpainted and requires assembly. Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended.
The two large models offer plenty of rewarding painting opportunities, from weathered ogor skin and worn metalwork to heavy furs, carved equipment and the thick hides of the Stonehorn and Thundertusk. Frost effects and snow-covered bases can reinforce the regiment’s connection to the brutal winters of Ghur.
Battlefield Role
Okar’s Torrbad can be included as a Regiment of Renown in Gloomspite Gitz, Ironjawz, Kruleboyz and Sons of Behemat armies. This allows other Destruction forces to call upon two formidable Ogor Mawtribes monsters without collecting an entire ogor army.
Okar’s connection to the wild elements allows him to open paths through fierce snowstorms, helping allied units move through battle with supernatural ease. The regiment combines this support with the physical power and imposing presence expected from a Stonehorn and Thundertusk, giving Destruction armies a hard-hitting pair of monstrous cavalry units.
For collectors who enjoy the frozen savagery of the Beastclaw ogors, Okar’s Torrbad offers two impressive models with a distinctive story and a useful place alongside several different Destruction factions.
