Ogor Mawtribes: Ironguts

Ironguts are the most experienced and heavily armoured warriors of the Ogor Mawtribes. They are armed with enormous two-handed weapons and have armour made with thick plates of scavenged metal – these veteran units serve as trusted bodyguards and frontline fighters. Where ordinary ogors rely on their size and appetite, Ironguts combine that strength with the status earned through endless victories.

Product Features

This multipart plastic kit builds three Ironguts for an Ogor Mawtribes army in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Each warrior is clad in extremely heavy armour and carries a suitably brutal weapon capable of being swung with the strength of an ogor.

The kit includes a wide variety of cosmetic components, including different weapons, heads and additional details. These options allow you to give each Irongut an individual appearance while maintaining the heavily armoured, battle-hardened character of the unit.

Their mixture of battered armour plates, oversized weapons and hard-won trophies offers plenty of opportunities for personalisation. Whether you favour a unified mawtribe colour scheme or mismatched equipment looted during previous campaigns, the models should fit naturally alongside your other Gutbusters.

Assembly and Painting

The Ogor Mawtribes Ironguts miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted. Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended.

The large armour panels are well suited to weathering, scratches and rust effects, while the exposed skin, heavy weapons and smaller trophies provide plenty of contrasting textures. The optional components also make it easy to ensure that every member of the unit has their own distinctive character.

Strategic Role

Ironguts are elite Gutbuster infantry, they are designed to bring heavily armoured muscle to an Ogor Mawtribes army. They weild imposing weapons and have veteran status, this make them natural frontline units. Their role as bodyguards allows them to accompany and protect the Heroes leading the warglutt.

On the battlefield Ironguts support the aggressive style associated with the Ogor Mawtribes. Their Displays of Might ability allows them to perform a Bull Charge even if another friendly unit has already used that ability during the same turn, helping multiple ogor units bring their considerable bulk to bear.
