What Grade is this?
This is a Master Grade (MG) kit, meaning 1/100 scale with a fully realised inner frame, excellent articulation, and a much more involved build compared to Entry or High Grade kits. The Ver. 3.0 line pushes MG even further, focusing heavily on realism, mechanical layering, and intricate construction.
Why You’ll Like It
Honestly, it’s one of the most satisfying RX-78-2 builds out there. The build process is engaging without being frustrating, and the finished model has loads of presence on the shelf. You get great articulation for posing, loads of fine surface detail, and all the iconic weapons like the beam rifle, shield, and beam sabres. If you’re looking for a definitive version of the original Gundam in MG form, this is a very strong contender.
