This is the 2024 Spearhead release, bringing together the models previously packaged in the Maggotkin Vanguard set. It offers a varied collection for building and painting, with infantry, cavalry and a character to add to your army.

Using This Set in Your Collection
The combination of infantry and flying cavalry lets you build around a steady advance while retaining a mobile threat.
Use the Plaguebearers to screen your army and occupy objectives, with the Spoilpox Scrivener nearby to support your daemon infantry. Position the Blightkings where you expect close combat, and use the Pusgoyle Blightlords to threaten a flank or reinforce a contested area.
Keeping these elements within supporting distance helps prevent your flying cavalry from becoming isolated ahead of the infantry. The Lord of Afflictions alternative build offers a mounted character when expanding your wider Maggotkin collection.
Assembly and Painting
The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Plastic glue, paints and hobby tools are available separately.
Diseased flesh, corroded armour and insect-like mounts provide plenty of opportunities for washes, weathering and contrasting textures. This release includes the original Putrid Blightkings models packaged with the 2024 Spearhead.
