Idoneth Deepkin: Akhelian Morrsarr Guard
Build three Akhelian Morrsarr Guard riding Fangmora Eels for your Idoneth Deepkin army in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. This Games Workshop multipart plastic kit contains 80 components and three Citadel 60 x 35mm oval bases. It can alternatively build three Akhelian Ishlaen Guard. Miniatures are supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are sold separately.
Morrsarr Guard combine armoured aelven riders with powerful, sinuous mounts. Armed with voltspears and galv-shields, they channel the electrical energy of their Fangmora Eels into their weapons. Sweeping tails, crested helmets and nautical accessories give these cavalry models a distinctive appearance on the tabletop.

Assembly and Painting
Choose Morrsarr Guard or Ishlaen Guard before assembly, as the riders use different weapons and helmet details. Remove parts carefully, clean mould lines and test the fit before applying plastic glue. Follow the included instructions when fitting riders, mounts and command options.
Consider painting the riders and eels separately where practical to reach the armour, reins and undersides. Contrasting colours for the mounts, armour and cloth help each element stand out. Finish the bases to match your army’s coastal or underwater theme.

Tactical Use
Morrsarr Guard give an Idoneth Deepkin army a fast shock-cavalry threat. Use their mobility to threaten flanks, pressure exposed units and force your opponent to protect more than one part of the battlefield.
Coordinate their attack with the rest of your force. Infantry can contest objectives and occupy enemy units while the eel riders approach a favourable target. A well-supported charge is more useful than sending them ahead alone into several enemy units.
Choose fights where their assault can make a decisive difference, then look for opportunities to reposition. Their hit-and-run role rewards timing and target selection, helping you apply pressure where the opponent’s battle line is weakest.
