If you’ve been following The Witch from Mercury, this is one of those kits you just can’t ignore. The Gundam Aerial has such a clean, modern design and Bandai have absolutely nailed it in this HG 1/144 release. It’s a really satisfying build straight out of the box, with great colour separation and those signature shell units giving it that unmistakable Aerial look without needing loads of paint.
What Grade is this?
This is a High Grade (HG) 1/144 scale kit, meaning it’s beginner-friendly but still delivers impressive detail and articulation. The build is straightforward, parts fit is excellent, and it’s ideal whether you’re just getting into Gunpla or want something quick and rewarding between larger projects.
Why You’ll Like It
The Aerial is one of those kits that just feels good to build. The articulation is surprisingly strong for an HG, so you can get some really dynamic poses, especially with the beam rifle and shield. Speaking of the shield, the way it can separate into bit staves is a brilliant touch and adds loads of display options. On top of that, the clear parts and in-mould colour separation make it look fantastic even with a straight build – no extra work needed unless you want to go the extra mile.
