The Duel Blitz Gundam is essentially the upgraded form of the classic Duel Gundam, now equipped with the Blitz’s stealth-inspired weaponry and combat enhancements. In HG form, Bandai has done a great job capturing that hybrid design – bulky armour combined with sleeker, more tactical elements. It’s a sharp-looking kit straight out of the box, and it’s one of those builds that feels different enough from the standard SEED suits to stand out on the shelf.
What Grade is this Gunpla?
This is a High Grade (HG) 1/144 scale kit, meaning it’s ideal whether you’re just getting into Gunpla or want a quicker, build between larger projects. You can expect solid articulation, good colour separation using moulded parts and a relatively straightforward assembly process. Like most modern HG kits, it strikes a nice balance between detail and accessibility without being overly complex.
Why You’ll Like It
The Duel Blitz Gundam has a really unique presence compared to other SEED mobile suits. You’ve got that familiar Duel frame, but with added Blitz elements that give it a more tactical, almost stealthy edge. The kit includes a great selection of weapons and equipment, making it perfect for dynamic posing. It’s also a nice change if you’ve already built Strike or Aegis variants and want something that feels connected but still fresh.
