Warhammer Colour: Shade Agrax Earthshade 18ml

Warhammer Colour Agrax Earthshade is a warm brown Shade paint designed to add natural shadows and definition to painted miniatures. It is particularly useful for armour, leather, cloth, bone, wood, fur, earth and weathered details where a rich, earthy finish is required.

Shade paint is formulated to flow into recesses while leaving less pigment on raised areas. This strengthens the separation between details and creates convincing depth without hiding the texture beneath. Agrax Earthshade is a dependable choice for giving clean base colours a more worn, aged or natural appearance.

The 18ml pot features the new Warhammer Colour branding, replacing the previous Citadel Colour presentation.

Using Agrax Earthshade

Apply Agrax Earthshade over a fully dry basecoat, guiding it into the recesses and around raised details. Work on one section at a time and draw away any heavy pools before the paint begins to dry.

A single controlled coat can define panel lines, folds, joints and textured surfaces. Additional paint can be applied selectively once the first coat is completely dry if deeper shadows or stronger weathering are required.

Agrax Earthshade can also be used as a targeted recess shade or as a thin tint across larger areas. Its warm brown colour makes it especially useful for adding age and depth to metallics, natural materials and scenery.

Supplied in an 18ml pot. Its water-based formula allows brushes to be cleaned with water after use.
