The Story
Driven from Chogoris, Huron Blackheart refuses to abandon his war against the White Scars. Across the burning ruins of the Yasan Sector, he continues to provoke and bait the sons of Jaghatai, weaving schemes designed to draw them into his grasp.
But Huron’s plans are about to be overtaken by something far more dangerous.
From the turmoil surrounding the Cicatrix Maledictum comes the shadow of the Great Devourer. The Tyranids are pouring into Huron’s territory, threatening not simply his latest campaign, but the entire dominion he has fought to build since the fall of Badab.
Holding that empire together may prove as dangerous as defending it. Huron rules through intimidation, ruthless bargains and alliances forged from necessity rather than loyalty. With the Tyranids closing in, he must somehow turn this volatile collection of renegades, pirates and traitors into a force capable of resisting an enemy that exists only to consume.
