Description
Synopsis
Armageddon has endured war on a scale few Imperial worlds could survive. When Orks descend upon Hive Tartarus, its defence falls to people with different duties, beliefs and ways of fighting.
Major Ambrosius Roth of the Steel Legion must confront the demands of a vast ground war. Sister Superior Sabreen of the Order of Our Martyred Lady brings the conviction of the Adepta Sororitas to the struggle. Brother Gavriel of the Blood Angels sees the conflict through the eyes of a Space Marine. Their stories bring the battle into focus from three distinct parts of the Imperial defence.
In Armageddon: Season of Fire, the threat to Hive Tartarus reaches beyond any one regiment or order. As the assault grows, each viewpoint reveals another part of the effort to hold the city against the Orks.
Why Read It
This is a strong choice if you want an Armageddon story with more than one Imperial perspective. Readers interested in the Steel Legion, Adepta Sororitas or Blood Angels can follow familiar forces while seeing how their roles intersect in the same campaign.
