Black Templars

The Black Templars are a crusading Space Marine Chapter known for their faith, martial pride and preference for fighting the enemies of the Imperium at close range. Their black armour, white heraldry and medieval details give the army a particularly strong visual identity.

The Combat Patrol: Black Templars offers an accessible foundation for a new force. Sword Brethren add ornate elite warriors, while the Emperor’s Champion provides one of the Chapter’s most iconic characters. You can also lead your army with High Marshal Helbrecht or bring the Chapter’s spiritual devotion to the tabletop with Chaplain Grimaldus and his Retinue.

The Codex Supplement: Black Templars explores the Chapter and its rules. Browse the wider Space Marines collection for general units and other Chapters, or visit the complete Warhammer 40K range to compare them with the Imperium’s enemies.
