Ogor Mawtribes: Morga the Mighty

Morga the Mighty is the Overtyrant of the Meatfist and one of the most powerful and influential ogors alive. The Butchers proclaim her the chosen champion of the Gulping God, but Morga has little interest in their religious ramblings. Her attention remains firmly fixed upon conquest, consumption and the complete domination of anyone foolish enough to oppose her.

Morga rides into battle upon Grutta, her personal glutthorn. This enormous and ill-tempered beast carries the Overtyrant directly into the heart of the fighting, where she swings the Meatfist Masher – a legendary relic valued by Morga primarily for its ability to crush skulls. Together, Morga and Grutta make an imposing centrepiece that captures the strength, brutality and ravenous character of the Ogor Mawtribes.

Product Features

This multipart plastic kit builds Morga the Mighty mounted upon Grutta for your Ogor Mawtribes army in games of Age of Sigmar.

The kit can also be assembled as a Tyrant on Glutthorn, allowing you to create a more personal warlord for your collection. The Tyrant build includes a choice of helmeted or unhelmeted heads, while the glutthorn can be assembled with or without the large armour plates strapped across its shoulders.

Whether built as Morga or a Tyrant, the model combines the hulking presence of an ogor warlord with the sheer bulk of a powerful monstrous mount. Layered armour, trophies, weapons and the glutthorn’s thick hide provide plenty of character and texture for painters to explore.

Assembly and Painting

Morga the Mighty is supplied unpainted and will require assembly. We reccomend Citadel Plastic Glue for construction, while Citadel Colour paints can be used to complete model.

This substantial model offers an enjoyable centrepiece painting project. Grutta’s hide provides a broad area for natural skin tones, shading and scars, while Morga’s armour, trophies and Meatfist Masher introduce contrasting metalwork and details. The optional armour plates also let you decide whether your glutthorn should appear heavily protected or display more of its rugged hide.

Battlefield Role

Morga the Mighty is a formidable mounted Hero who leads the Ogor Mawtribes from the front. Her Meatfist Masher delivers crushing blows in close combat, while Grutta is capable powerful attacks with its horns and hooves – becoming particularly dangerous when charging into the enemy.

Morga also interacts closely with the Ogor Mawtribes’ Eat ’Em Alive battle trait. This allows her to benefit from multiple effects at once. This reinforces her position as an aggressive and exceptionally resilient leader who thrives in the thick of battle.

Alternatively, the Tyrant on Glutthorn provides Ogor Mawtribes armies with a mounted commander whose presence drives nearby ogors into the charge. Either build makes a fitting leader for a hard-hitting warglutt and an impressive focal point for an Ogor Mawtribes collection.

Morga the Mighty brings together everything that defines the faction: enormous strength, brutal weaponry, an insatiable appetite and a complete disregard for anything standing between her and her next conquest.
